That I feel needs to be addressed, so that the person at fault can be found and on principle my item returned. On 5/24/2014 I had to leave the con early to attend to a family matter and left a good friend of mine to look after my table. During that time a 15 year old or so girl visited my booth over 5 times. She Asked about my unicorn that was tucked out of reach and was told that it was a display item to show what one of my patterns looked liked finish. At some point when my friend was helping another person with a purchase this girl stole my display Unicorn. She went to my fellow artists and friends booth and showed "Greg" off and even repeated the cute little story that my friend wrote on his display about how Greg was not for adoption because he was not house broken and had a gambling addiction. This Girl was teen aged, had blonde hair, was wearing Necomimi cat ears and was dressed in black and white the day of the Theft. I am used to people stealing from my artist table, but never them walking around with a one of a kind piece and showing it off to my friends and telling them how wonderful and talented I am, and how she convinced me to sell it to her. I was not even there. If you see Greg, let him know the goblins and I miss him, and let his abductor know I am saddened and ashamed to have them as a "Fan". Artist, Tiffany Crosby I can truly say it has been an odd collection of weather over the last month here in Texas. We actually had Ice and Snow recently which meant having to bring most of my tropical alimented Fae indoors for a few days. Needless to say I have been much more busy due to housing arrangements then actually pursuits of science.
As per normal. I will be in attendance at the Sherwood Forest Faire for the next two months on peddling my wears, and making study of the local faeries that inhabit the wooded area outside the shire. And with any luck, I will get funding to travel to the north and do some field work at the Spoutwood Faerie Festival in may. ![]() I have finally returned home from my holiday adventures as well as my delightful weekend at Space city con. I met many a wonderful person, talented artists, and delighted in sharing my knowledge with others during the panel I lead on Friday. I am seeing if I might gain access to the recording of the panel to add to my electronic location. After, I review the remaining items and creatures that with me, I will begin the excitement of placing them on the site for sale. We are also in goblin hatching season, so be on the look out for newly weaned goblins, and perhaps later in the season I will see how the nesting boxes for the hybrids are doing. I will be in attendance of the Weird west festival in giddings tx, 12/07/13 . Dr. Steam and myself will have a number of new items
As darkness grows closer to the diner hour, I find myself in a flurry of action about the lab and home in preparing to attend another fine year of opening my market stalls at Teslacon.
Indeed, this year I will have several new wonderment's to provide the most tasteful of collector as well as items Dr. Steam has per-cured for sale as well. Until my pen meets paper again, Professor Lascivious. |
