Cacklers, called such due to their fiendish laughter, after commonly seen in the western and southern territories of the Texas empire.
Often seen in small packs of 3 to 15 with 1 breeding pair that oversee's their troop. The troop will often live by scavenging and hunting small rodents, egg stealing and as of late with western colonization begging.
Cacklers have little shame and even a smaller reserve courage and unless they feel they have an advantage he more bothersome then deadly. The exception of course is when they are hungry and have not been able to feed. Driven by hunger a troop is likely to seek as to obtain prey such as small children, household pets, and chickens. I have found that Boggarts are to brownies, as men are to women. They are loud, disruptive, and would not know the business end of a feather duster if their life was in peril.
While they do tend to share some physical characteristics with the common house brownie, make no mistake they are very dangerous to have about.
