These Faeries have evolved to appear as a completely different species. Like many types of insects and amphibians, that takes the appearance of another creature to protect themselves, so does the bush tail faerie. Often overlooked as a common squirrel these Faeries are known to be the actually clever thieves that plague one’s bird feeder at night, pillage your nut harvests and torment one’s pets. The bush tail faerie takes its name from its large bush like tail that it uses for balance while moving about the forest canopy. While lacking wings it does spend most of its life off the ground living in trees amongst squirrel colonies. Most Bush tails may only touch earth once or twice a decade if left to their nature and devices. Most often a single bush tail will live with colony, taking part in their gathering and preparing for the seasonal changes. With the introduction to Cats into their environment, there has been some concern for the preservation of these rarely noticed Faeries.
